Project Based Learning
It is imperative that our students connect what they’re learning in the classroom to the real world around them. Argo Navis utilizes project-based learning to create this connection and bring learning outside of the classroom to directly affect each student’s educational journey.
Teachers begin by asking the students what they want to learn about a particular topic. The students’ answers drive the teachers’ lesson plans and curriculum. This is a key element of project-based learning because our students are in the driver’s seat. Our teachers must remain flexible and adapt because they incorporate each child’s learning objectives with the topic.
Once students have a deeper understanding of their chosen topic, they must apply what they’ve learned beyond the classroom to have a greater impact on the community and world around them.
